Services
Wealth can be a powerful force for good
Every family is unique — its history, values, dynamics and ambitions are unlike any other. For that reason, my work is never off the shelf. Each engagement is tailored to the family’s needs and evolves as understanding deepens.
Our Services
What unites my services is a single purpose: helping families organise themselves effectively and with meaning, so that their wealth supports both their relationships and their wider contribution to society.
Governance
Designing the processes and forums that help families make good decisions together. Family governance is about clarity: knowing who to involve and how decisions are made. It brings order without hierarchy.
Rising Generation
Preparing the rising generation to participate in the family’s shared endeavours. Wealth transitions are about more than inheritance; they are about belonging and contribution. Younger family members need both knowledge and voice.
Purpose and Impact
Clarifying what wealth is for — and how to use it in ways that feel right for your family. Doing good takes many forms, from philanthropy to reassessing investment priorities. I help families explore these questions without judgement.
Succession & Future Planning
Translating purpose into practical plans for the future. Succession isn’t only about Wills; it’s about how wealth will support the next chapter. I help families explore what needs to be protected and what legacy they want to create.
Family Office Design
Creating structures and teams that serve the family’s needs. Family offices exist to make family life easier, not more complicated. As families evolve, their family offices often need to evolve too to keep pace.
The approaches I use
Every family’s needs are different, so I draw on a range of approaches to support clarity, communication and good decision-making. Here are some of the ways I help families move forward
How the Process Works
While each engagement is bespoke, my approach follows a gentle rhythm.
Discovery
Understanding the family’s history, dynamics and what’s currently in place.
Alignment
Facilitating dialogue to uncover shared priorities and principles.
Design
Developing frameworks, structures or programmes tailored to those insights.
Implementation
Supporting the family and their advisers as plans take shape.
This iterative process means the work evolves naturally. Families often tell me they start with one question — for example, “How do we set up a family council?” — and end up with something much richer: a shared understanding of why they’re doing it and how they want to work together in the future.
I frequently work alongside lawyers, trustees, accountants, investment professionals and philanthropy advisers to ensure every piece of the puzzle fits together. The result is an integrated, human approach that complements technical expertise with insight into family dynamics.
Professional Collaborations
Sharing insights and building capability across the advisory community
Alongside my work with families, I regularly collaborate with professional firms and industry bodies to deepen understanding of family offices, family governance and purposeful wealth. This includes running Family Office conferences, speaking at events, facilitating workshops and designing training sessions for advisers who work with enterprising families and family offices.
Sessions are always practical and tailored — from exploring how to engage families in governance conversations, to helping advisory teams build confidence in addressing the human aspects of wealth.
As well as running my own events, I’ve spoken at events for organisations such as STEP, Jersey Finance, Guernsey Finance, Global Family Office Community, AYU and Thought Leaders 4 Private Client, and often work with law, accounting and investment firms to enrich their internal learning programmes.
If you’re developing a client event or professional training session and would like to explore a collaboration, I’d be delighted to hear from you.
Getting Started
Whether you’re a family seeking clarity, a family office wanting to review its framework, or a professional adviser exploring collaboration, our first step is always a conversation. From there, we can shape a process that fits your goals and capacity.
